Dining

  • Your mouth will water at Western Sizzlin’s Wood Grill Buffet in Pigeon Forge. They offer wood grilled steak, smoked ribs, hand carved ham, chicken wings, and roast beef. This place is perfect if you are in the mood for American, Italian, Mexican, or Asian cuisines. They even have a kids bar!
  • Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que is where you can find the Smokies best hickory-smoked ribs, beef, pork and chicken. Come for breakfast or salad and enjoy a 40-item bar.
  • Get hand-cut oak-fired steaks at Alamo Steakhouse, where you can also enjoy amazing seafood, sandwiches, chops and chicken. If you have children, they’ll enjoy their own special menu.
  • Big Daddy’s Pizzeria has wood-fired world class pizza that comes out of a brick oven. They were voted most kid friendly restaurant with the newest arcade in the entire area!

Adventure

  • Smoky Mountain Rafting is definitely fun for the whole family. They have over 27 years experience, family owned with friendly and knowledgeable guides. You’ll have two hours on the water, which is the longest whitewater trip (6.5 miles) on the Pigeon River. Don’t worry if you’re a first timer, because they even have trips for ages three and up.
  • Ride America’s largest tramway to Ober Gatlinburg and visit the Ski Resort and Amusement Park.
  • The Nantahala Outdoor Center offers whitewater rafting, ziplines, a lake tour, mountain biking, hiking, a paddling school and more. You can also get certified in swiftwater rescue.
